Reginald Thomas, a former piano student of the Johnnie Mae Kimbro Preparatory School of Music , continued his education in music after graduating Northeast High School his freshmen year at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha , OK. Mr. Thomas served as Director of music for the Greater Shiloh Baptist Church. He also was musician and one of the many co-directors to two community choirs consecutively, the Inter-Faith Community Choir and the Emeralds of Grace Community Choir of Oklahoma City. Mr. Thomas went on to study piano at the University of Oklahoma his sophomore and junior years.
In his early years Reginald has accompanied such recording artist as the Rev. James Cleveland , Andre Crouch and the Disciples, Sherman Andres of ‘Andres and Blackwood Company’, Cassetta George, Tramaine Hawkins , Dr. Michael Charles, the late Dr. Carole Brice Carey artist in resident of OU Pastor Daisy McGrew along with many others. He has performed on occasions with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra .
After receiving the call to ministry, Thomas was ordained to serve as the assistant pastor and minister of music for the Praise Center fellowship of OKC. During this time Thomas worked periodically as a studio keyboardist, background vocalist and vocal arranger for Christian World Recording Studio, Cornerstone Recording Studio and Benson Sound Studio.
Mr. Thomas was called to become founder and president of Judah Ministries INC (JMI)., and began to pastor Judah Fellowship. He serves now as the overseer and founder of Zion Worship Center (a subsidiary of JMI), a non-denominational, inter-grated spirit-filled ministry in Oklahoma City. His studies at Tabernacle Bible College in Tampa Fl. have rendered him a bachelors in Biblical Studies, a masters in Pastoral Counseling, and a doctorate in Religious Philosophy.
Besides teaching the Word, and pasturing ZWC, writing and arranging music, Thomas enjoys, teaching music, visual arts, and he thoroughly enjoys playing keyboards with his family who taught him music, Shawn Kimbro-Dawson, Johann Kimbro and Shortt Dogg.
